Its election hot-hot-time in Taiwan now..

Coming from Singapore... Elections in Taiwan are like month-long carnivals...

Was reading the papers today, and of course it was filled with pictures of candidates appealing for a vote..

This somehow sums up the three different approaches used by candidates..

Bad People.

I saw a man in his 50'ties abusing a puppy yesterday..

He had the housefly swapper, swapping the poor puppy who was trying desperately to escape..The poor puppy fell into the drain..

I was so upset, I almost went up and push him down the drain..

Yesterday, a guy whose house I was going to see, was rude and absolutely incorrigible..

"If you cant find the directions, then you shouldn't come at all" and went on to hang up on me..

I am intolerant of meaness, rudeness and bad behaviours..

But unfortunately, I didnt do anything..

I should have went up to that puppy abuser and slammed his face in...

Or told that rude bastard that I dont appreciate his attitude..

But I let my anger simmer for a minute, and I went on to do what I was doing..

Many people will say why waste your effort on these kind of people?

Making Things Simpler.

Because simplicity gets things done easier...quicker...and no complications..

After spending more than a week trying out different layouts for my blog... It all comes back to this..

White background...black dotted lines...and grey text..

I do not have to worry too much about getting the colours scheme right.. about how the page will look in general..

Because black and white...this combination can never go wrong..

So I start afresh with this blog... signifying a new chapter of my life..

Our Willy is a FLIGHT ATTENDANT!

Let me repeat this again... Our Willy is a flight attendant... you know the kind who goes "Hi Mam....Will you like coffee? Tea? Or Me?"..

Cant believe it... but I should have guessed...when he went all quiet...and dodgy about it... he always like travelling...so this job must be perfect for him :)

And of course...our Willy has always been kinda vain...hahaha..

Way to go my boy... Qatar Airlines no less..Update your blog..and let us see you in uniform..

I always have this thing for a man in uniforms :)

After a while...It sure feels good to be back!

Didnt intended to start blogging...am still swarmed with work...was not really in the mood..

But as I click on to check on this wee space of mine... My eyes lighted up...and saw "1 comment" at the bottom of my previous entry...

So I am starting again...she got me going again babes..

Michelle used to play a big part in my blogs...as she took great care of me when I just came to Taiwan...2 years ago..

And dear Mimi has since gone back to the States....and I never forgot her ever since..

Mimi...do you know Jeanie is coming back to Taiwan tomorrow!!!! For a trip no less :)

Her appearance invoked the jealousy and possessive streak in me.... a streak that you didnt think I possessed..

Because I have appeared so confident and secure....which in fact I am not....

When she hooked your arm, asking you to go dinner...When she called your name.. flirty...

My face flamed...and the knot in my stomach knotted tighter..

You assured me.... Your assurance were just words...and didnt make me feel better..

Its only when you hold me tight at night...that I let the worries slowly ebb away..

Its only when your eyes redden...and moisten..when I told you that you will be okay if I am gone...

That I realise its possible I am as important to you as you are to me..

When you make life changing decisions...

It depends on what you think takes priority....

What you think culminate a successful life.... like when you are about to die... and when you flash back years of your life....

Is it love? I have loved and dared to love...

A happy family with children...

Or is it that you have earned a million dollars?

Or is that your last employment was the Chief Executive Officer?

I have been head-hunted...

An increase in salary...

The opportunity to be part of regional PR team...

The proposing company will pay for the 2-month-salary penalty if I break the current contract with my company...

If I were to pack my bags...leave my current employee...and go back to Singapore by the end of November..

I said I will tell them on Sunday night...

Just when I have found the man.....a better career advancement opportunity comes along..

Why does it has to be this or the other..

The Italian Cat who Died For Love.

Fell in love with the neighbour's female cat during one hot Italian summer..

The feelings was mutual... but their relationship could not be consumated, as Charlie.. sadly lost his manhood at the vet's...so the relationship remained plainly platonic..

But one day...their respective owners...got tired of retrieving their cats from each other's gardens...and the female cat's owner...put a net to seal the hole...

Charlie was heartbroken...missed his lover...and sought ways to go to her...

One day...love sickness dared him to climb carelessly...and sadly...he fell to his death...

The female cat...speculated to have seen the whole incident... was heartbroken..

And jumped to her death...at the exact spot where he fell....a week later..

And this is the story of Charlie, the Italian cat..and his lover, who died for love..

Italians....Even their cats are romantic...It must the olive oil....
